Render Dwell was launched from a longtime dream. A dream to help people fall in love with the places they dwell. Nine times out of ten, when we purchase a home, we take over a space that was loved, worn, decorated, renovated by someone completely different than you. Different tastes, styles, budgets…it’s just as important in that situation to take the time to define your personal style, and reimagine your home to align with it.

I want to share a home makeover before and after from a client in Cicero, IN. We took a photo from their listing, and I can’t say enough how great it feels to transform a cute yet tired cottage for these new homeowners! They are modern minimalists, so we brought in a beautiful clean wood porch to simplify the facade and bring straight lines. A stark, black metal roof cleaned up any wear and tear from the years, and made the natural stone pop! After all, the goal was to make that stone the star of the home’s exterior once again. Accents of wood columns and a slat divider wall helped to define the porch area. It’s so important that we give our clients a glimpse of what it would be like to live and dwell in their new space, so welcoming furniture and decor selections really sold the design at the end of the day!
