All the Inspo

I’ve had new builds on the brain ever since I started this particular project. There’s something magical about going through the layout design process and then FINALLY seeing your space in (virtual) reality for the first time! To be honest, there are surprises...the ceiling seems higher, the room seems narrower, there aren’t as many windows as expected, and so on. BUT, the beauty of the design stage is that you can still make changes! You can add wood ceiling beams, change the fireplace material, change up those windows…the benefits of seeing your plans come to live in the design phase are invaluable.

I want to share a new home build design from a client in Byers, CO. The client was ready to see her plans come to life, so we took her full set of blueprint, modeled up the rooms to-scale, and started making selections and renderings! If you missed the great room design, head back to New Home for a New Year. For this beautiful gourmet kitchen, we pulled out all the stops and used ALL the inspo. From our client’s Pinterest board, we gathered modern farmhouse looks and natural, muted tones to propose 2 different kitchen designs. From plush pewters and golds, to quarried stone and natural hickory, these palettes are to die for!
